Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that Inter owners Suning have now made the decisive shift in their plans towards selling the club outright.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Rai Radio, Biasin explained that the owners have shifted from looking for minority investment to searching for a buyer outright, and also that there is no shortage of buyers although it is still some time before a sale occurs.

Suning have been reported to be looking for minority partners at Inter for some time, as this could potentially allow them to stay on at owners whilst also bringing in an injection of investment capital.

However, reports across the past few days have suggested that this is no longer the case.

For one reason or another, it is now reported that the Nerazzurri owners have asked US-based investment banks Goldman Sachs and Raine Group to search for an outright buyer for the club.

Biasin backs this up, stating that “Their stance has changed, the owners are no longer looking for a minority partner but rather are willing to sell.”

“As far as whether there’s a queue forming to buy the club, I’d say there are interested parties, but right now we’re hardly talking about things that will take days or weeks,” he added.
