Inter could already have new owners not long after the World Cup ends.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the rumoured change in ownership at the Nerazzurri could already take place in the next couple months.

According to recent reports, Inter owners Suning have definitely placed the club up for sale.

This does not mean that a deal will immediately be reached, but the owners’ decision to work with investment banks Goldman Sachs and Raine Group suggest that they are serious about an outright sale of the club.

According to Tuttosport, there is a chance that things could move in this direction so quickly that a sale could take place not long after the World Cup.

The team will break on the pitch for the international tournament in November and December, and then return in January.

Already by that point, however, things could very well look different at the corporate level.
