Inter would not have any intention of selling Milan Skriniar in January even in the event that he doesn’t extend his current contract.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri’s plan remains firmly to keep the 27-year-old until the end of the season at least, and they would not entertain the idea of selling him in the January transfer window.

Inter’s priority is certainly to agree a new contract with Skriniar, past the end of June 2023 when his present deal expires.

If this is not to be the case, then there have been suggestions that the Nerazzurri could be seriously tempted to cash in on the Slovakian in January rather than lose him for free next summer.

However, this is not a serious consideration for the club.

Whatever comes of contract talks with Skriniar and his representatives, the Nerazzurri would aim to keep hold of him at least for the rest of the season.
