Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that Inter owners Suning have made the decision to sell the club.

Speaking to the Twitch stream of Italian news outlet Calciomercato.it, as reported by FCInter1908, Biasin stated that, based on his sources, the Nerazzurri owners are no longer seriously interested in looking for minority parnters.

Suning have been looking for cash for Inter for some time, and in the recent past the owners have appeared to be prioritizing minority investment.

This would allow the Chinese company to stay in control at the Nerazzurri, whilst also alleviating some of the club’s financial issues.

According to Biasin, however, this is no longer what Suning plan to do.

According to the journalist, their plans have now decisively shifted in the direction of an outright sale.

“A month ago I said what I know about the Inter owners,” he said.

“A month ago I learned from a reliable source that the Zhang family was officially looking for a buyer,” he continued, “not just someone who could help them out.”

“I’ve kept saying this,” Biasin added, “the owners are seeking a buyer through intermediaries, the requested amount is over €1 billion.”

“I know that there’s a willingness to sell the club,” he added, “I don’t know if there is already someone willing to make an offer that the Zhang family will be happy with.”
