Inter owners Suning are completely ready to sell the club despite the public facade being maintained that they are aiming to stay on.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that behind the scenes the Nerazzurri owners’ intentions are towards an outright sale.
Suning have always issued clear public denials regarding rumours that they want to sell Inter.
The owners’ line has always been that they are looking for minority investment to inject cash into the club, but that they are not thinking about a sale.
This is expected to be the stance reiterated by President Steven Zhang in his speech at the shareholders’ meeting on October 28.
However, behind the scenes it is a different story, according to Tuttosport.
Whilst it had at one point been the case that the Nerazzurri owners had been looking for minority partners as the priority rather than an outright sale, that has changed.
