Fiorentina will be without winger Riccardo Sottil, and in all likelihood also striker Luka Jovic, in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Inter.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Tuscans’ struggling attack will be further depleted by the injuries.
Fiorentina have managed only eight goals across their first ten matches in Serie A this season.
This will be the outstanding problem for Viola coach Vincenzo Italiano to address, he will hope starting with tomorrow’s match against Inter at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
However, Italiano will not be able to call on winger Sottil.
The 23-year-old, one of La Viola’s brightest attacking talents, had hoped to be back from injury for tomorrow’s match, but he will not be fit in time.
Meanwhile, striker Jovic picked up a thigh problem in Monday’s Serie A draw with Lecce, and he is not likely to return in time.
Thererfore, it will be Christian Kouame and Arthur Cabral who are called upon in all likelihood.
