Ahead of this evening’s Serie A clash against Inter, Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano is yet to decide on how to shape his attack, with Luka Jovic and Arthur Cabral vying for a start.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the Viola coach is settled on Christian Kouame to lead the attack at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, but is unsure whether to opt for two strikers or three.
Should he choose a two-man strike force, Italiano will pick between Real Madrid loanee Jovic or Brazilian forward Cabral, but a trident attack would still only see one of the pair selected.
In that case, the other attacking flank would be covered by one of Nicolas Gonzalez or Jonathan Ikone.
Italiano is also expected to choose Lucas Martinez Quarta to partner Nikola Milenkovic at the heart of defence, ahead of Igor, whilst Sofyan Amrabat will return to midfield after missing the 1-1 draw against Lecce.
