Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio travelled to Spain to collect scouting reports on a host of players, and is thought to have been impressed by Tanguy Nianzou of Sevilla.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, Ausilio spent time covering matches in La Liga to build up a list of transfer targets, and attended Sevilla’s 1-1 draw with Valencia on Tuesday.

Whilst he was primarily observing Valencia’s Mouctar Diakhaby, Ausilio is believed to have been unimpressed but instead was taken by defender Nianzou.

Although his price is expected to rise sharply in the coming months, the Frenchman will continue to be observed by Inter and added to their list of potential targets.

Elsewhere, Ausilio monitored Valencia’s defensive pair Jose Luis Gaya and Thierry Correa, as well as Gonzalo Montiel and Jose Carmona of Sevilla.

In addition to the players from Sevilla and Valencia, Ausilio has also taken an interest in Villarreal’s Alfonso Pedraza.

The former Leeds United player can operate as a winger and a full-back, and would be available for €15 million.
