Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is only concentrating on his club and he believes that he can become a club legend.

The Nerazzurri striker Lautaro Martinez is focused on his club and on the future objective of being a club legend.

“I am happy and I am doing well at the club. I hope to become a club legend as soon as possible.

“I signed a new contract a year ago and I am thinking only about Inter,” said the Argentinean striker to Rai Sport in an interview recorded after the game but aired earlier today, via FCInter1908.it.

“We have a lot of objectives ahead of us and we are hoping to continue on this path. We conceded three goals and we had to score four goals to win. It is a lot and the important thing was to win,” continued the Inter player.

“Is the Scudetto an objective? No, because we dropped many important points and now, we have to think about recovering ground,” concluded Nerazzurro stiker.

Lautaro Martinez has been a good run of form as he has scored 4 goals in his last 3 appearances in all competitions.

The Inter striker scored in the 3-3 draw against Barcelona at the Camp Nou and then in the back-to-back Serie A games against Salernitana and Fiorentina.

Prior to this run of form, the Argentinean striker failed to score in 5 straight Serie A games, which coincided with Inter’s 2 game losing streak against Udinese and AS Roma.

The Nerazzurri are hoping that the Argentinean international’s good run of form continues, as they face off against Viktoria Plzen in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday at the San Siro at 18:45 CET. A win will secure qualification in the Round of 16.
