The Italian Federal Prosecutor and FIGC (Italian FA) will not take any action regarding the alleged altercations in the dressing room following Inter’s Serie A win over Fiorentina on Saturday evening.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that investigators have reviewed evidence and are not set to take any action against the Viola directors.
Fiorentina directors Rocco Commisso and Joe Barrone made no effort to hide their frustrations in the aftermath of Saturday’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
There had been reports of an alleged altercation in the Inter dressing room.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina have officially demanded an apology from Inter after the post-match incidents.
As far as the dressing room scenes go, there will not be any action taken against the Viola directors.
These were far from the only scenes for which action could be taken, with some of the behaviour of Fiorentina fans potentially subject to action.
However, after reviewing the evidence, investigators for the Federal Prosecutor and FIGC have decided against any further action.
