US-based investment fund Silver Lake Partners have declined to comment on their reported interest in buying Inter from current owners Suning.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Californian fund have not commented in response to questions regarding reports that have linked them with either purchasing the Nerrazzurri, or being part of a consortium to do so.

Silver Lake have already worked with US-based investment bank Raine Group, who are reportedly looking for buyers for Inter on behalf of Suning.

The investment fund purchased a 10% stake in the City Football Group, which they were aided in doing by Raine.

Now, Raine are working with Suning to look for buyers for Inter, with the investment bank reportedly having been employed to try and set up a consortium that would meet the current owners’ asking price.

Silver Lake have declined to comment on the links, however.
