Inter’s training retreat during the World Cup break will not be held in Saudi Arabia as had been considered by the club.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are instead considering the possibilities of holding the retreat in Turkey, Malta, or Spain.

Inter will hold a retreat for training for the players who are not on international duty for the World Cup during the more than a month that the club season is stopped for the tournament.

It had been considered to hold the retreat in Saudi Arabia, considering that this is where the Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan will be played in January.

However, the club have decided against this plan.

Instead, the possibilities of Turkey, Malta, and Spain, particularly Malaga, are being looked at as alternatives for the retreat.
