Suning are not inclined towards selling Inter, but two potential buyers from the US have asked for information about the club.

This according to international news service Reuters, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri owners do not consider the club to be explicitly for sale but that interest has come in.

Suning and Inter President Steven Zhang have strongly rebutted recent reports suggesting that they have asked US-based investment banks Goldman Sachs and Raine Group to look for buyers for the club.

However, according to Reuters, this does not mean that there is not interest in buying the club.

According to the news service, two potential investors have come forward and asked for information regarding a potential purchase of the Nerazzurri from Suning.

Reuters do not go into any more detail about the identity of the prospective buyers, just noting that there have been two separate sources of interest.

Reuters also confirm that the current owners’ asking price for the club on any potential sale would be at least €1.2 billion.
