Inter owners Suning would be ready to part with the club if they were to receive an offer worth €1.2 billion, according to Italian media.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere della Sera, the Nerazzurri’s shareholders’ meeting yesterday has given a significant clue that Suning may be ready to end their ownership of the club in the near future.

It is reported that the latest financial reports include a point in which Suning are committed to covering costs for at least the next 12 months, but a change of ownership would see these being handed over.

This is being read as talk of a potential sale being more than just a throwaway idea, and that there may be an appetite amongst the current owners to cash in.

The newspaper argues that it would take an offer of €1.2b to tempt the Zhang family to sell, and any approach at that price would lead to negotiations being opened.
