Inter In Talks With Alan Matturro’s Agent & Could Sign Him In January Then Loan Back To Sporting Defensor, Italian Media Report

Inter are in serious talks with the agent of young Sporting Defensor defender Alan Matturo, and could sign him as early as January and then send him back to his current club on loan.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri’s plan could be to try and beat the competition of Sevilla and Ajax by signing the 18-year-old during the January transfer window.

Inter consider Matturro to be a serious target, with the young Uruguayan’s form having convinced Assistant Sporting Direcor Dario Baccin of his quality for the future on his current scouting trip.

Inter have made their interest in signing Matturro very clear, and are in talks with the young Uruguayan’s agent.

However, the Nerazzurri are not the only club who have registered an interest in signing Matturo.

The likes of Sevilla and Ajax have also identified Matturro as a player who they would be keen to bring to Europe.

Accordingly, Inter’s plan could be to move fast for the 18-year-old.

There is a release clause worth €6 million in Matturro’s current contract with Sporting Defensor, and the Nerazzurri would consider this a reasonable amount considering the potential that they see in the defender.

Inter could activate this clause as early as the January transfer window, and then upon signing Matturro send him back to Sporting on loan to continue his development for at least the rest of the current season.
