Inter are set to offer Uruguayan club Defensor Sporting €3 million plus a percentage of future resale for defender Alan Matturro.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will offer around half of the 18-year-old’s release clause in addition to the percentage on future resale.

Matturro has emerged as a major target for Inter in defense.

The young Uruguayan is highly rated in his domestic league, and the Nerazzurri have been convinced by recent scouting of him.

Matturro’s current contract with Sporting Defensor contains a release clause worth €6 million.

However, the Nerazzurri are close to instead offering €3 million to the Uruguayan club, in addition to a percentage on future resale, in order to get a deal done.

Inter are aiming to get a deal for Matturro wrapped up fairly quickly, as a number of other European clubs are also targeting his signature.
