Inter’s directors feel that the club are in a very risky situation for the outcome of their season following a loss to Juventus in Serie A over the weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the directors feel that the team’s form away from home and in big matches means that top four in the league can no longer be taken for granted.

Inter had built up plenty of momentum with their run of results in October, but that all but evaporated as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Juventus in Turin on Sunday.

In the view of the directors, this is confirmation that as things stand, the kinds of defensive and concentration that had plagued the team in the early weeks of the season are never too far away from returning.

Accordingly, the directors feel that it must be impressed upon coach Simone Inzaghi that there is no option but to treat this as something bordering on a crisis and take decisive action to fixed the problems that are continuing to appear.
