There are still final details remaining to be agreed regarding a new contract with Inter, but defender Milan Skriniar has decided that he will extend his deal.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Slovakian has made his final decision, and that only a bit of distance remains in terms of the finances in negotiations.

Inter have been pushing to get a new contract agreed with Skriniar.

The 27-year-old has been considering the strong interest of Paris Saint-Germain as well, but ultimately feels happiest with remaining in Milan and at the Nerazzurri.

The club have made their offer, and it is not too far off the of the player’s demands from a financial standpoint.

However, the Corriere stresses, the agreement is not yet fully done.

There is still a bit more that will have to be worked out in remaining negotiations before the player and his representatives are full satisfied with the wages offered in a new contract.
