Inter would be willing to allow wingback Robin Gosens to leave the club during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would be ready to allow the 28-year-old to find a new club and would immediately go in search of a like-for-like replacement.

Gosens’ missing out on the World Cup as the German national team announced the squad list yesterday comes as another setback for the former Atalanta wingback.

The sense is that this disappointment only leaves the German closer to the exit door at Inter, where he has not been able to find consistent playing time.

The Nerazzurri would be open to listening to offers during the January transfer window.

Should Gosens be on his way, Inter will immediately look to sign a left-wingback to replace him.

The profile sought would be a left-footed player capable of beating a defender one-on-one.
