Inter will spend the World Cup break in a training camp in Malta, where they will also play several friendly matches.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri squad not at the tournament will not be given a significant break from training.

Once Inter’s squad disperse for the World Cup break following the team’s final Serie A match before the break, against Atalanta on Sunday, many Nerazzurri players will join up with their national teams.

However, for those players who do not leave for international duty, there will be no significant time off.

Rather, the Corriere reports, the training camp will begin right away.

As part of the training camp, the Nerazzurri will play a friendly match against Maltese champions Hamrun Spartans.

Then, on December 17, a friendly clash with Spanish side Real Betis is scheduled, whilst friendlies against Sassuolo and Reggina are also scheduled.
