Midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could start for Inter in Sunday’s Serie A clash with Atalanta.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old could make his first Nerazzurri start in several weeks, although Hakan Calhanoglu is still the likeliest to start at the base of midfield.

Brozovic has been back in the squad for Inter’s past two matches.

After spending the entirety of October on the sidelines recovering from a thigh injury, the Croat came off the bench during the second half of matches against Juventus and Bologna.

The midfielder could be back in the starting eleven against Atalanta over the weekend, with the Gazzetta reporting that there is a real chance that he starts in Bergamo.

The newspaper’s completed predicted starting eleven for the match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
