Inter wingback Robin Gosens has not yet fully made up his mind to leave the Nerazzurri during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old could still decide to stay and fight for his place in 2023 instead of seeking a transfer away.

There is little doubt that the first year that Gosens has spent at Inter has not gone how either party will have planned.

Reports have suggested that, particularly after missing out on the World Cup with the German national team due to a lack of playing time at club level, the 28-year-old is keen on a new challenge where he can be guaranteed more playing time.

However, the German’s attitude is still that he has the quality to nail down a starting place at the Nerazzurri and provide Federico Dimarco with competition.

Accordingly, it can hardly be ruled out that Gosens would decide to at least stay for the remainder of the current season.
