Inter goalkeeper Andrei Radu is set to cut short his loan spell with Cremonese, but faces a crucial week to decide his future amidst interest from France.

According to FCInterNews.it, the former Genoa loanee will have his loan agreement terminated due to a lack of playing time, having fallen down the pecking order at the Grigriorosso.

However, Inter have no space for him in their squad, with Alex Cordaz serving as third choice to Andre Onana and Samir Handanovic, and so are keen to send him back out on loan in the January transfer window.

To avoid being stuck at the Nerazzurri with no prospect of senior football, Radu’s agent, Oscar Damiani, has been working on finding an alternative and has focused his attentions on the French top flight.

Negotiations are set to take place this week and Damiani is seeking a swift resolution, with Saint-Etienne and Reims showing an interest in Radu.

It is believed that the player would prefer a move to Reims however, with Saint-Etienne languishing at the foot of the second division.
