Frosinone head coach Fabio Grosso believes that Inter-owned striker Samuele Mulattieri has great potential to grow within the game.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia following his team’s 3-0 victory over Reggina in Serie B, via L’Interista, the 2006 World Cup winner praised the quality and potential of the young Nerazzurri-owned striker.

Mulattieri scored the opening goal in a 3-0 victory over Reggina, which takes Frosinone six points clear of their closest rivals in the Serie B table.

The 22-year-old, who has also spent time on loan with the likes of Volendam and Reggina, has been an important player for Frosinone as they have reached the top of the Serie B table.

It is not clear what the short- and long-term future will hold for Mulattieri.

However, for his part, Frosinone coach Grosso feels that the young Nerazzurri-owned striker has all the qualities necessary to be capable of reaching a very high level.

“Mulattieri is an intelligent young man,” Grosso commented, “and when you have that quality you always go looking for improvements and can reach a really high level.”

“He has great physical qualities, is generous with his teammates, and he has a striker’s eye for goal,” the coach said of Mulattieri.
