Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi believes that Torino’s Wilfried Singo and Roma’s Rick Karsdorp are possible replacements from within Serie A if Denzel Dumfries leaves Inter.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Barzaghi explained that both of the pair would be on the Nerazzurri’s radar, and could even be signed on swap deals if the Nerazzurri are to want to avoid outlaying too much of a fee on a replacement for Dumfries.

Transfer rumours have emerged that Dumfries is likely to be the player who Inter sell for a significant fee in the next couple transfer windows.

Should the 26-year-old be the player who the Nerazzurri cash in on to meet financial goals, they will need a replacement, but also have to respect budgetary restrictions in their search.

As Barzaghi explained, there are also the players currently at Inter who can play on the right flank, whilst the team’s search could be focused on Serie A.

“In the meantime there’s still Darmian, who’s discussing a contract extension, and also Bellanova, whose form is growing,” he said.

“Singo has extended with Torino, so he would cost around €10 million,” Barzaghi continued.

“The Lazaro deal is also in the balance with Torino, though,” he went on, “Inter are not willing to give discounts, but could be willing to listen to an offer of a player exchange.”

“Then there’s Odriozola, who Roma are fans of, there’s also Karsdorp, who is looking for a team and who is in Juventus’ sights, but it could be an interesting discussion to start up, also because as far as I know Mourinho is a big fan of Gosens, maybe there’s a swap idea there.”
