The city council of Milan have made some requests to Inter and AC Milan to make changes in their new stadium plans.

This according to the Milan-based edition of La Repubblia, via FCInter1908, who report that the revisions asked for by the council concern adding more green space and also changing the layout of the plans for the area.

Inter and Milan are waiting to see if they can receive approval from the city council and begin construction on a new stadium in Milan.

In the meantime, the council has heard the recommendations of Andrea Pillon, who had been the coordinator for the public debate concerning the plans which concluded last month.

Based on these, the council has asked the clubs to make some changes.

One of the key themes of the council’s request involves the addition of more green space, and changes with respect to rules around carbon neutrality.

Meanwhile, the council has also asked that the layout be changed so that the stadium is moved as far away from a row of houses as possible.
