The Lega Serie A is evaluating three possible locations in which the next Supercoppa Italiana match will be held.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, who report that the Lega is considering proposals from all of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Hungary to host the match next year.

This season’s Supercoppa match, between Serie A champions AC Milan and Coppa Italia champions Inter, will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on January 18.

The Nerazzurri were also in the Supercoppa match last season, defeating Juventus in extra time.

Last season, the match was held at the San Siro in Milan due to an inability of the Lega Serie A and representatives from Saudi Arabia to agree a deal for the country to host the match.

This time around, Saudi Arabia will indeed host the Supercoppa match, and could do so again next season as well, but proposals are also being evaluated from the UEA and Hungary according to the Corriere della Sera.
