Manchester United are accelerating their interest in signing Borussia Monchengladbach striker and Inter target Marcus Thuram.

This according to German news outlet Sports Bild, via L’Interista, who report that Gladbach would allow the 25-year-old to leave in January for €12 million as the Red Devils step up their pursuit, whilst Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested.

Inter are working to try and sign Thuram, either in January for a fee or on a free transfer when his contract runs out at the end of June 2023.

However, the competition to sign the Frenchman is fierce.

According to Bild, United have emerged as serious suitors for the former Guingamp striker.

The Premier League giants have recently taken steps to try and get a deal done for the Frenchman as early as the January window.

Thuram’s club would be ready to accept an offer worth around €12 million to sign the striker in January, so as to avoid losing him on a free transfer next summer.
