Italian journalist Luca Marchetti feels that right now there is nothing more than speculation to the rumours that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Napoli Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli could join Juventus.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, Marchetti reported that to his knowledge, any interest from the Bianconeri in bringing in Marotta and Giuntoli has not extended beyond them being considerations.
Marotta’s name has been one of those most prominently linked with Juventus as they search for a new CEO to head up their board of directors.
Given the executive’s history with the Bianconeri, the association has been a strong one in the rumour mill.
Meanwhile, Napoli Sporting Director Giuntoli’s reputation as one of the top men in his field in Serie A has meant that he too has been linked with the Bianconeri, who will decide their new board of directors next month.
Marchetti explained that “The names we’re hearing right now are credible, but right now it’s all just speculation,” in response to being asked about the links of Marotta and Giuntoli to Juventus.
