Inter and Marseille have joined Napoli in the race to sign Angers midfielder Azzedine Ounahi, and the Partenopei could be priced out of a move for the 22-year-old.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Moroccan’s valuation has jumped to at least €20 million, and that the Nerazzurri are among his main suitors as Napoli hope to avoid a bidding war.

Ounahi had already been a player on Napoli’s radar prior to the World Cup, where he shone with Morocco as they reached the semifinals of the competition.

The 22-year-old’s performances at the tournament meant that the €10 million that Angers had been demanding for him has now at least doubled.

The Partenopei could struggle to get a deal done for Ounahi, as they had been hoping to move quickly and even secure an agreement in January, but would now face competition for his signature.

According to the Gazzetta, Inter and Marseille are two of the main teams now pushing to sign Ounahi.
