Monza midfielder Stefano Sensi, currently on loan from Inter, has returned to training after sustaining a serious injury in November.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sensi made his comeback to individual training with a ball yesterday as he steps up his recovery from a fractured ankle suffered during Monza’s 2-0 win over Hellas Verona in Serie A on 6 November.

Whilst he is not yet ready to return to full team training, he is believed to be on schedule in his recovery and will continue to work with fitness staff over the coming weeks as he focuses on his comeback.

Indeed, the Italian international could be in line to be included in Monza’s squad for the Serie A match against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on 29 January.

Sensi joined Monza on loan from Inter in the summer, after enduring an injury-plagued spell with the Nerazzurri since arriving from Sassuolo in 2020.
