Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to pair Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko in attack for the visit of Serie A league leaders Napoli on Wednesday.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, Inzaghi has used the World Cup break to prepare for the clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and will turn to Dzeko to lead the line, alongside a rejuvenated Lukaku.

It is set to be the Belgian international’s first start since the end of August, after an injury-hit campaign, and Inter are hoping that the Chelsea loanee will hit the ground running after extensive fitness work this month.

Fresh from winning the World Cup with Argentina, Lautaro Martinez is pushing to convince Inzaghi to change his plans and start him, but the former Racing Club striker is expected to be used from the bench.

Meanwhile, fellow Argentine forward Joaquin Correa has now fully recovered from the injury that ruled him out of the World Cup and is likely to be included in the squad for the match against the Partenopei.
