Appliance manufacturer Hisense would be a strong candidate to replace DigitalBits as Inter’s main shirt sponsor.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who also report that online betting company LeoVegas could enter the running in the event that regulations change around betting sponsorships in Italy.
Inter’s search for a new main shirt sponsor to replace DigitalBits is now well underway.
The Nerazzurri do not necessarily expect a new partner who will agree a deal worth as much as the cryptocurrency company had done, but are hopeful that they can come close, having already recovered €5 million per season from their sleeve sponsorship with eBay.
Hisense are one of the leading candidates, with the Chinese company having also had prominent sponsorship displays at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar last month.
Meanwhile, LeoVegas cannot currently enter into an agreement with the Nerazzurri due to laws against betting-related sponsorships in Italian football.
Should these laws change, however, they would be a possible new main shirt sponsor for the Nerazzurri.
