Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has suffered a strain to his left calf, and will likely be out of action until the Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan.
This is confirmed by the Nerazzurri on their official site, where they update that the 30-year-old underwent medical tests today which confirmed that he has suffered a mild strain to his left soleus muscle.
Brozovic had already looked to be likely to miss out on the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Napoli on Wednesday due to being unfit based on the most recent training sessions.
After complaining of some soreness in his left lower left, the Croat was assessed by the Nerazzurri’s medical staff today.
The results of the tests showed that Brozovic had suffered a slight strain to the soleus muscle in his left calf.
According to FCInterNews, Brozovic should be out for around fifteen days, until the Supercoppa match against Milan or more optimistically the Serie A clash with Hellas Verona.
