Defender Juan Jesus, right-back Mario Rui, and winger Matteo Politano are all expected to start for Napoli in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Inter.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the trio have been coach Luciano Spalletti’s main selection doubts ahead of the match, but that he will favour them to start.
Spalletti will be aiming to start his strongest possible team as Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will.
The likes of striker Victor Osimhen, winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and defender Kim Min-Jae among others are virtual certainties to start.
However, the likes of Amir Rrahmani, Mathias Oliveira, and Hirving Lozano have been in contention to start ahead of Jesus, Rui, and Politano respectively.
The Gazzetta predicts that the following will be the Partenopei’s starting eleven for the match, however:
Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Kim, Jesus, Mario Rui; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Politano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia.
