Inter are set to cut the loan spell of young midfielder Mattia Sangali at Serie C side Lecco short.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will look to loan the 20-year-old to a different team in Serie C where he can receive more playing time.
Sangalli made the switch to Lecco on loan during the summer transfer window ahead of this season.
The youngster had come through Inter’s youth system, and after impressing with the Nerazzurri’s Primavera team last season it had been decided that Lecco would be the ideal destination for him to take his first steps within the senior professional game.
However, the 20-year-old has found playing time hard to come by with the Lombard club.
Accordingly, the loan move is set to be cut short during the January transfer window.
The Nerazzurri will look for a new club to loan Sangalli to until the end of the campaign, with the priority being to find him somewhere that he will play regularly.
