Inter have been picking up points in Serie A at the kind of pace that could see them win the title since Andre Onana came in as the starting goalkeeper.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who highlight the impact that the Cameroonian has had since coming in for captain Samir Handanovic.

Onana did not start in any of Inter’s first league matches of the season, as captain Handanovic kept his place.

The Nerazzurri won four and lost four in that period, far from the kind of form needed to win the title.

Since Onana came in for the Slovenian, starting his first ever Serie A match away to Sassuolo in October, Inter have won all of their league fixtures save for a loss away to Juventus.

Accordingly, Tuttosport suggest, the 26-year-old who arrived on a free transfer from Ajax could well be the secret ingredient for an Inter title challenge.
