Inter fans made their opinions clear as they urged captain Milan Skriniar to remain at the club during the 2-2 draw against Monza in Serie A yesterday evening.

As reported by FCInterNews.it, the travelling Nerazzurri supporters at the U-Power Stadium cheered for the Slovakia international and unfurled banners asking him to stay beyond the end of the season.

Skriniar has entered the final six months of his contract with Inter and is yet to decide on whether to accept an extension proposed to him by the club, with the Nerazzurri at risk of losing the centre-back as a free agent in June.

“Skriniar you are our captain. You are the boss of Milan, stay with us,” one of the banners unfurled read, as Inter fans implored the 27-year-old to commit his future to the club.

The former Zilina defender joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2017 and has made 238 appearances for the Nerazzurri, scoring 11 goals.

Skriniar has lifted the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia with Inter, whilst also helping them to reach the Europa League final.
