Southampton have had an offer turned down for Inter-linked Racing Club midfielder Carlos Alcaraz worth €10 million turned down by his club.
This according to Argentine broadcaster TyC Sports, via FCInter1908, who report that the Premier League team have made an offer to the 19-year-old’s club, with the player also a target for the likes of Benfica and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Alcaraz’s form in the Argentine top flight has attracted no shortage of transfer interest, with Inter one of the clubs most closely following the young Argentine.
In addition to the Nerazzurri, Wolverhampton Wanderers have also inquired about Alcaraz, whilst Benfica would be ready to make the 19-year-old a major target in the event that Enzo Fernandez is sold.
Wolves’ English top flight rivals Southampton have also emerged as suitors, and have in fact made a concrete offer worth €10 million for January, according to TyC Sports.
However, Racing Club have rejected Saints’ offer for Alcaraz.
