The agent of defender Milan Skriniar has told Inter Milan that he will deliver the player’s response to their contract extension offer by the end of the current week.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 27-year-old’s representative has given the Nerazzurri his word that they will not have to wait much longer for a response to their formal offer.
Inter’s offer to Skriniar has been on the table for some time now, with Christmas and the new year having come and gone without him giving the club his decision.
The club cannot wait much longer however and have clearly indicated that they expect a response within the month of January.
According to the Gazzetta, the latest communication that Inter have gotten from the Slovakian’s representative suggests that they will not have to wait much longer.
Skriniar’s agent has told the Nerazzurri that the response to their contract offer will arrive by the end of the week, and the club will be hoping that the player decides to accept their offer.
