Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries looked woefully out of form in the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 Coppa Italia win over Parma yesterday evening, in the view of Italian media.

The Dutchman received a score of just 4/10 in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the lowest of any Nerazzurri player on the pitch.

A number of Inter players came in for criticism for the performances in yesterday’s match, with midfield duo Roberto Gagliardini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan particularly slated for criticism, receiving 5/10 scores for their sluggish displays.

The Corriere’s harshest criticism was reserved for Dumfries, however.

The Dutchman took numerous poor touches and gave the ball away in relatively simple positions, whilst he was also far from the kind of outlet in the final third that he is capable of being at his best.

For the Corriere, Dumfries looked plainly out of form and was the worst Inter player on the night.
