Barcelona are thinking about a swap deal of striker Memphis Depay for Inter forward Joaquin Correa.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would be willing to consider the swap deal between the two out-of-favour attacking players.

Depay is not happy with his situation at Barcelona, where the Dutchman receives very little playing time under coach Xavi.

The Catalans are looking for a solution, and there is a high probability that the former Lyon, Manchester United, and PSV forward could leave during the January transfer window.

Nerazzurri forward Correa is a player on the Blaugranas’ radar, and they would be interested in in an exchange between the two players.

Correa has yet to establish himself as a regular starter for Inter despite no shortage of chances to do so, and the Nerazzurri would consider offloading the Argentine, even as early as this month.

According to the Gazzetta, talks between Barcelona and Inter could take place in Saudi Arabia where the two clubs currently are for their respective Supercup competitions.

The two clubs could work out the feasibility and possible formula of a deal involving Depay and Correa in talks over the coming days.
