Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has thoroughly rubbished the transfer rumours regarding possible swap deals with Barcelona.

Speaking to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri executive was unequivocal in his response regarding the transfer links concerning Marcelo Brozovic, Franck Kessie, Memphis Depay, and Joaquin Correa.

Reports have emerged over the past few days that Inter and Barcelona are discussing the possibility of one or two player exchanges.

One of the rumours has concerned midfielders Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie.

Another has been that the two clubs are discussing a possible swap deal for forwards Memphis Depay and Joaquin Correa.

The rumours have been that while the two clubs are in Saudi Arabia for their respective Supercup competitions, the talks have started to heat up.

However, a lot of cold water has been thrown on these rumours by Nerazzurri CEO Marotta.

Asked about the rumours by Mundo Deportivo, Marotta kept his answer short but unambiguous.

“There’s nothing at all,” he said.
