Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan feels that if the Nerazzurri can produce their best form over the rest of the season, then there is little that they can’t accomplish.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of tomorrow evening’s Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan, as reported by FCInterNews, the 33-year-old also noted that he is feeling in good condition physically despite the amount that he has been playing.

Inter have their first opportunity to play for silverware tomorrow in their Supercoppa match against city rivals Milan.

After this, the Nerazzurri will return to their engagements in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the Champions League.

Things will not get any easier as the team face a packed fixture list in which virtually every match is must-win, but Mkhitaryan feels that they have the quality to be successful over the rest of the campaign.

“We’ll play our game, and I think if we play the way we know we can then nothing can stop us,” the Armenian said.

Of his physical condition, Mkhitaryan said that “If I play it’s because I’m ready to help the team, the coach is only playing me if he knows I’m capable.”

“If I’m not ready and fresh I don’t play,” he continued, “for the good of the team.”

“I try to give my best and enjoy myself every day, every match.”

Mkhitaryan noted that “I hope to play many more matches with Inter, I’m happy I spent three seasons at Roma, now I’m at Inter, when I arrived I said I hope to win something with this club and that was all there is to it.”

“I left a club that I loved but I’m happy to be here playing for a trophy.”

Of the preparations for tomorrow’s match, Mkhitaryan said that “They’re still in progress, we do our best to prepare ourselves as well as possible.”
