Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi feels that his team are doing everything they can to be at their best in this evening’s Supercoppa Italiana clash with AC Milan.
Speaking in a press conference on the Lega Serie A’s official website, via FCInterNews, the coach made clear that the Nerazzurri are extremely keen to win this evening’s match and with it the Supercoppa Itlaiana.
Inter will have their first opportunity of the season to fight for silverware when they face off against city rivals Milan this evening.
It will be anything but an easy match however, as the Milan derby is always one of the Nerazzurri’s most formidable challenges of the season.
The team will have to work in training to be at their best technically, physically, mentally, and tactically if they are to get the better of their city rivals the Rossoneri.
As far as Inzaghi is concerned, however, there is no doubt in the coach’s mind that his players are working well.
“We’re preparing for the match this evening in the best way possible,” the coach said.
“We really hope to win the Supercoppa Italiana.”
