Young Inter wingback Mattia Zanotti is close to making the switch to join AZ Alkmaar on loan for the rest of the season.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that a deal could be done to send the 20-year-old to the Eredivisie as soon as tomorrow, and that the Nerazzurri would only include a purchase option if they have a buyback clause.
Zanotti is ready to take his first real steps into playing senior professional football on a consistent basis.
AZ are keen on signing the 20-year-old on loan for the rest of the season, and they look to be close to getting a deal over the line.
According to FCInterNews, the two clubs are in advanced talks over the deal, and all that needs to be agreed now is the formula for a deal.
The news outlet reports that there could be a purchase option, but it would be for a significant fee and Inter would insist on a buyback clause as they are not keen to lose a prospect of Zanotti’s quality in June.
