Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie is not expected to leave the club before the end of the season, despite being linked with a move to Inter.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Spanish outlet Relevo, the Ivory Coast international wants to stay at the Camp Nou beyond the end of the transfer window, despite a difficult debut season in La Liga.

Kessie joined Barcelona from AC Milan on a free transfer last summer, but has been linked with a return to Serie A amidst interest from Inter, with a potential exchange that would see Marcelo Brozovic move to Spain being mooted.

However, Relevo have revealed that Kessie has made clear his intentions to remain with the Catalan club until at least the end of the season, and this is shared by Barcelona themselves.

The 26-year-old joined Milan from Atalanta in 2017 and scored 39 goals in 224 appearances for the Rossoneri, helping them to win the Serie A title last season.
