Lille defender Tiago Djalo looks to be ahead of Udinese’s Rodrigo Becao on Inter’s shortlist of possible candidates to replace Milan Skriniar.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908, who report that Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic is likely out of the picture after extending his contract with La Viola, whilst Atalanta’s Giorgio Scalvini is financially unattainable.

Inter’s search for a defender to replace Skriniar is in full swing now that it has been all but confirmed that the Slovakian intends to leave for Paris Saint-Germain whether it is this month or in the summer.

Milenkovic is a player the Nerazzurri consider to be suitable and had been targeting in the summer, but the 25-year-old extended his contract with Fiorentina until the end of June 2027, and the Tuscans would have no intention of selling him this month.

Meanwhile, Scalvini already looks to be out of Inter’s price range.

Within Serie A, this has left Udinese defender Becao as a player who the Nerazzurri are considering as a possible replacement for Skriniar, but according to Tuttosport it is Lille defender Djalo who they are most keen on.
