Udinese and Empoli are both targeting Inter striker Samuele Mulattieri, currently on loan in Serie B with Frosinone, and could even make an effort to sign him this month.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, who report that the 20-year-old striker is on the radar of both Serie A clubs, and that a move before the end of the January transfer window cannot be entirely ruled out.

Mulattieri’s form on loan with Frosinone, who are currently top of the Serie B table, has attracted no shortage of transfer attention.

According to the Gazzetta, Udinese and Empoli are two of the teams with the strongest interest in signing the Nerazzurri-owned striker.

Both of the Serie A duo are thinking about a potential move for Mulattieri during the summer transfer window after the current season.

However, according to the Gazzetta, neither have completely ruled out a late attempt to sign the 20-year-old this month.
