Serie B side Bari would be ready to join Ternana and Perugia in the race to sign Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito on loan for the rest of the season if Eddie Salcedo leaves for a different club.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Puglian club could look to switch one young Inter striker on loan for another before the January transfer window closes.
Currently Esposito’s next club is unknown, although what is clear is that the 20-year-old will join a new club on loan until the end of the season after his loan spell with Anderlecht was cut short.
Ternana have been one of the teams most keen on Esposito in recent days but have been able to get a loan deal done for him, whilst Perugia could also be in the hunt.
According to the Gazzetta, the duo’s Serie A rival Bari are a late arrival in contention to sign Esposito.
Right now, the Puglians have one Inter striker on loan in the form of Salcedo, but if he is to be moved on to a different Serie B club then they would be ready to move for Esposito before the end of the January window.
